LISA GREENBAUM, E-RYT-500 YA (U.S.), Gold ERYT YA (Australia)

Lisa Greenbaum is the Director of YogaFit Canada Inc., and Program Development Manager for YogaFit Australia. Discovering Yoga was like uncovering her life's mission. Through YogaFit she has helped class participants, new and fellow instructors as well as her closest friends and family learn the amazing benefits and life balance that a regular practice can bring to our lives. She also has learned how Yoga can hone creativity and discipline in her own busy life as well. Lisa has been teaching group fitness classes for GoodLife Fitness in Toronto, ON since 2001. 

 

CLAUDIA MICCO, E-RYT-500 YA (U.S.), Gold ERYT YA (Australia)

Claudia has taken her yoga expertise to help those living in the Hawaiian Islands. Travelling extensively through Europe, training instructors in mind/body fitness, Claudia has become a leading expert in this field. Claudia is also the creator of the HypnoFit method; creating lifelong healthy habits through a combination of self-hypnosis, exercise and an ‘Aloha’ mantra.

PAUL GALLORO, E-RYT-500

Paul Galloro is like a hug in human form! He is a YogaFit Master Trainer and Divine Wellness Consultant, but what he really does is inspire and empower people to be their authentic self.  Holding many fitness and yoga certifications, Paul's real training came from his life experience in the many roles he's played over the years; from government employee, art teacher, to go-go dancer (in his bedroom), and fitness instructor. "It's really the events and happenings of my life that have given me the knowledge and first hand experience of the teachings of Yoga." As a trainer for YogaFit, Paul currently leads Levels 1 through 3 and many one-day specialties and workshops across North America and in Barbados, and has presented YogaFit trainings and sessions at various fitness conferences across Canada. Paul fuses education with just the right amount of flare. He proves you can have a conscious and mindful life without taking things too seriously. Time with Paul will leave you feeling warm, like you can conquer the world, and knowing You Are Loved.

JOY KELLER, E-RYT-500

Joy has been involved in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years, many of which were spent coaching elite athletes across Canada. Joy holds a group exercise certification and is also certified in Pilates, PiYo and the Silver Sneakers fitness program. She is also the owner of Enjoy Yoga Studio.

BRANDI BERNARD, E-RYT-500 Australia/USA. Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT) with Yoga Alliance Australia

Brandi completed her Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Exercise Science and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy. She has earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in Arizona. She has also earned her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist status with her desire to improve athlete’s ability to compete at collegiate and professional levels. Brandi has completed her Yoga Teacher Training through YogaFit Teacher Training Systems for both her 200 hour and 500 hour programs. She has earned her Yoga Alliance Australia and Yoga Alliance USA E-RYT for her 200 hour and her E-RYT in her 500-hour program. Brandi continues to work daily in a physiotherapy clinic and teacher for YogaFit in the Yoga Therapy program, which enables her to use a combination of eastern and western therapeutic interventions with her clients.

Jarryd has been living, breathing and teaching in the fitness industry for close to a decade. Working in the fitness industry is the greatest pleasure and gives him the opportunity to combine his two biggest passions in life: people and movement. Stepping into a YogaFit training a few years back changed Jarryd's life. Discovering a program that made the practice of yoga accessible and supportive for everyone was awe-inspiring. Jarryd's experience in the fitness industry extends beyond his role as the Australian YogaFit Master Trainer. It includes multi-site management, program development and various fitness projects, including children's fitness. He believes in creating strong connections with people from all walks of life and loves nothing more than seeing (and making!) people smile. He holds a Cert III and Cert IV in Fitness, a Cert IV in Training and Assessment and is working towards his 500RYT with YogaFit. Jarryd teaches group fitness classes including Les Mills, Pilates and freestyle and is a Group Fitness Manager for Goodlife Health Clubs in QLD to round out his full-time fitness gig.

*"E-RYT 500” is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher who has completed 500 hours of training with either a RYS 200 and RYS 300 or a RYS 500, has at least four years of teaching experience following completion of training with any RYS, and has taught at least 2,000 hours of yoga since that time. At least 500 of these hours must be taught after completing training with a RYS 300 or RYS 500.

Yoga Alliance (Australia) Gold Designation ERYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) distinguishes teachers with considerable teaching experience since graduating (2000, 3000 or 5000 hours) and enables teachers to be Director/Principal/Faculty of teacher training courses, provide continuing education programs, seminars and workshops to other teachers, conduct retreats and present events.

To be eligible for registration, teachers must have completed a 200 hour, 350 hour or 500 hour training programme with a school registered with Yoga Alliance Australia, Yoga Alliance US or a similar recognised organisation.
